FAQs

What kind of aircraft do I have access to?

American Jet Booking has a wide variety of jets from turbo-props to reconfigured commercial aircraft. We will always have access to the best suited jet for your trip, no matter what your needs are.

Where do the jets in AJB’s program come from?

Aircraft certified to fly for American Jet Booking’s clients are owned by corporations and high net-worth individuals and are hand-selected by AJB. These jets are managed by AJB certified operators. AJB applies a rigorous approval process prior to certifying and working with each and every aircraft operator in our program.

How much money do I have to pay upfront?

None.  American Jet Booking is a pay as you go option that requires no large upfront capital investment.  The trip quote that you agree to is what you pay, ensuring no surprises on your invoice.

How much time do I have to give AJB to cancel a flight?

You can cancel most domestic flights up to 72 hours prior to your flight (7 days prior for international flights).  Where the cancellation policy is ultimately up to the operator, there is some potential for fluctuation.   You should always discuss the cancellation policy with your Sales Director at the time of booking.

What airports do I fly out of?

We can fly out of any airport that meets AJB safety requirements. These include major hubs such as Los Angeles International to smaller, more exclusive airports. Your Sales Director can help you choose which origin and destination airports will be the most convenient for your particular trip.

Can I book more than one jet at a time?

Yes. American Jet Booking can be a great solution if you need to book multiple aircraft at the same time.

How much luggage can I bring?

Luggage capacity varies by jet type.  We request that our clients inform us if they are bringing large luggage items or many pieces of luggage.  If needed, we will ensure that your jet has average or greater luggage capacity.  Your Sales Director is always available to discuss your luggage requirements and recommend the best jet solution for your travel needs.

What if I want to bring my pets with me?

American Jet Booking values the comfort and safety of your pet. We require that your pet is restrained for takeoff and landing, as well as during turbulent air conditions. Though most of our certified jets allow pets, please be sure to inform your Sales Director at the time of booking of any pets that will be traveling with you. This way we can ensure proper carriers or restraints are in place for your flight.

Why is AJB the safest luxury jet company in the world?

At American Jet Booking, safety and security is our main focus. Setting standards for superior and reliable safety, we ensure that our qualified operator partners provide our clients with the most stringent safety standards available in the industry. In addition our carefully chosen operators all exceed private aircraft regulatory protocol offered by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Part 135 Commuter on Demand Operations for safety, maintenance, and training. Furthermore from among the 25,000 aircraft that we have access to, AJB only selects those that meet the high standards set by independent auditors like WYVERN (Flight Safety) and ARG/US.

To further ensure your safety, we require multiple, real-time safety checks long before each aircraft departs using our custom PASS report, a monitoring system developed in partnership with WYVERN Aviation Safety Intelligence. A PASS report is one of the most detailed safety analysis programs available in the industry and provides comprehensive information on each reserved plane, pilot, certifications, registrations, history, and equipment, quality of the crew, the pilots, the aircraft, and our Operator Partners before each and every flight.
